Finding a stager for your vacant home is easy with MyVacantHouse.com.
Follow the simple steps below to create your listing on the site and you will automatically be searchable and found by stagers looking for homes to live-in and stage.
The steps are:
- Use the "Homeowner Signup" option in the top menu to create a login and password
- Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
- Log In using the newly created login and password. Click on the "Add Listing" option within the Homeowner control panel
- Click on the plus sign next to your state, this will display a list of cities.
- Click on the City, - if it is not already part of the list, you can add it.
- Create a headline for your listing i.e. ‘Great Golf Course View in Gated Community'
- Answer a few simple questions about your house
8. Finish the desciption of the house and click 'Add LIsting. Your listing should appear in the appropriate geographic region.

Once you find a stager, you can use our tips below on structuring a live-in arrangement:
- The homeowner can browse the stager profiles
- When you communicate you should make sure both parties agree on the various terms of your relation ship. Among other things the extra expenses, the duties to be performed, the showing instructions for real estate agents, any advance notice required for showings, a minimum and maximum notice for move out once the home is under contract.
- When you have identified the stager you will use, we recommend you check their credit profile and perform a criminal background check.
- We recommend you verify employment and check any references the stager can give.
- We recommend that stagers carry an insurance policy including liability insurance.
- We recommend you put your agreement in writing and include language that addresses notice to move, in certain instances, even if the home has not sold.
- Homeowners will have the opportunity to leave feedback about a stager once their house is sold. Good feedback benefits the stager by making them more desirable to the next homeowner which could result in a better house or lower fee.
